Happy New Year everybody! And again I have to say sorry. The winners are up late and we have to hold off any contests and the end of the month voting for now. If anybody is interested, we could use another operator or two to help run the club. Please note us with why you should be one (operators can't participate in any activities).

Ok, two things: We are extending the contest another week, because it's kind of a special topic, and all of you are probably real busy.

Introduction

PhotoWeek is a club where we hold weekly photography contests. Each week is a different topic. There are first, second, and third prizes. There is also a big prize for the best photo of the month!

To become a member

Add ~PhotoWeek to you watch list and add : iconphotoweek : (without the spaces) to your journal.

Club Rules

1.) Do not ask to be a featured artist.
2.) Read and follow contest and mini game rules before participating.
3.) You must be a member to enter contests.

Chat Room Mini Games

Go to #PhotoWeek to play all our mini games, but make sure you read the rules below first!

Story Telling

In this game a founder or operator will start a story then tell a member to take a photo of the next part in the story. The member will then hand it off to another and the story will develop. There must be a description explaining the photo and it must be copied and pasted into the chat. The story can end any time after at least 5 photos have been taken. Members may start this game, but if there is a founder or operator you must ask permission to start. At least 5 members should be present to play.

Photo Trivia/Riddles

Photo trivia and riddles are random questions that you must answer with a photo! The question or statement will be given then when you know the answer take a photo! Do not say the answer in the chat unless you have a photo of it. If you tell the answer without a photo you will get 3 warnings before you get kicked, and two kicks before you get banned. This game can only be played if a founder or operator is in the room. Only 2-3 members are needed, but the more the merrier!

Photo Tag

This game is a little bit like the story telling game, but with no actual story line. It's like a simple game of tag, but each photo has to have something in common with the last. It can be shape, size, color, animal, material , etc. Members may start this game, but if there is a founder or operator you must ask permission to start. At least 4 members should be present to play.

General Rules

1.) Only one game may be played at a time.
2.) A founder or operator may stop a game at anytime if it gets out of hand.
3.) All photos must be within 900x900 pixels.
4.) Basic photo editing only (contrast, noise reduction, etc.).
5.) Small borders with no more than 2 solid colors and no text.
6.) You must be a member to play mini games.
7.) No pornography.
